'Dancing With The Stars' Episode 2: Who Went Home In 1st Elimination?

Season 25 of "Dancing with the Stars" wrapped up its second episode Monday night on ABC, and man, the producers aren’t playing around this season. The show is only two episodes in and contestants are already having to learn and compete two routines -- one Standard and one Latin!

We saw some highs and we saw some lows, including a three-way tie for first place and our first elimination of the season. Check out the top performances from Monday night and find out who went home.

Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold

JUDGES SCORE: 24/30

Viennese Waltz, “Count on Me” by Judah Kelly

Jordan and Lindsay did it again! They slayed for the second week in a row, and the majority of the judges loved the duo's Viennese waltz. There was some criticism from the judges, as Len Goodman stated he felt it was all a little staccato and Carrie Ann wants to see a little more flair from Jordan in the future. Regardless of the judges' critiques, Jordan and Lindsay danced their way to the top of the list yet again.

Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy

JUDGES SCORE: 24/30

Foxtrot, “Hit Me With a Hot Note” by Tami Tappan Damiano

Based on Monday night's episode, Vanessa and Maks are clearly in this competition to win. A behind-the-scenes look into their rehearsal showed us just how tough Maks is on his partner, but Vanessa can clearly handle it. The judges loved Vanessa and Maks’ foxy foxtrot, complimenting Vanessa’s moves and the pair's overall chemistry which tied them for first place.

Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy

JUDGES SCORE: 24/30

Tango, “Look What You Made Me Do” by Taylor Swift

This contemporary tango made first place a three-way tie, as Victoria and Val danced their way to the top of the leaderboard. What’s most impressive is Victoria’s triumphant comeback not only in the show but also in life. Two years prior to appearing on "DWTS," she was bedridden and believed she would never walk again. Now she is on stage performing the tango in front of millions of people and straight killin’ it. Feels like there’s no cap on what Victoria can achieve, and with her supportive partner Val by her side, we know we will be seeing much more of this couple in the future.

Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson

JUDGES SCORE: 23/30

Tango, “Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons

Who would have thought that child star of "Malcolm in the Middle" Frankie Muniz would love dance so much and actually be incredibly good at it? Well, it’s true folks! Watching Frankie dance is a pure joy. He dances with so much excitement and love for what he is doing that it’s palpable even through the TV screen. Frankie and partner Witney’s choreography was arguably the best of the night. Their hard work and patience paid off, earning them the second-highest score of the evening.

Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko

JUDGES SCORE: 23/30

Viennese Waltz, “I’m Going Down” by Rose Royce

Sasha and Gleb get the trophy for most improved from episode one. A week ago, Sasha let the nerves get to her, but on Monday night she said she was having none of that. Dancing the Viennese waltz, the couple looked confident, sexy, and glamorous all at the same time. The judges thought so too, minus Len, who thought the choreography was, meh. Regardless of what Len thinks, the couple still scored high and can be proud of their immense improvement from the week before.

Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas

JUDGES SCORE: 21/30

Quickstep, “Swing Step” by Jurassic 5

A fan favorite from last week's premiere episode, Lindsey and Mark didn’t perform quite as well as in their debut but still managed to stay above average. They danced a Harry Potter-inspired quickstep in a costume that we can’t say we loved, but we did find the routine charming. The couple wasn’t significantly worse than last week as much as it was that other couples just got significantly better. If Lindsey and Mark want to keep up with the rest, they’ll have to keep improving week after week.

The rest of the scores from last nights contestants are as follows.

Nikki Bella & Artem Chigvintsev - 21/30

Barbara & Keo – 17/ 30

Derek & Sharna – 19/30

Debbie & Alan – 20/30

Nick & Peta – 19/30

Terrell & Cheryl – 20/30

Drew & Emma – 20/30

On the chopping block this week we had Terrell Owens and Barbara Corcoran. This comes as no surprise, as the two celebrities and their partners were at the bottom of the leaderboard. But only one was being sent home, and Monday night we said bye-bye Barbara.

That’s it for this weeks recap, check back next week for another "Dancing With The Stars" breakdown.
