Nino Langella - Vera Bondareva, ITA, won the first GrandSlam leg of the year in Helsinki, FIN, but they only prevailed with a narrow margin over Moldovans Gabriele Goffredo - Anna Matus and Russians Armen Tsaturyan - Svetlana Gudyno.
