William Penn women's freestyle coach Jake Kadel is making a final push for the NAIA Championships on March 14-15 in Wichita, Kansas.
It has arrived. The NCAA voted to include women’s wrestling as its 91st championship sport. For now, Division I, II, and III institutions will compete in the 2026 NCAA Championships.

NCAA Media Center -- The NCAA added women's wrestling as its 91st championship sport, providing another athletics opportunity for female athletes to compete. Divisions I, II and III approved the addition at the Association's annual Convention this week in Nashville, Tennessee.
Top-ranked Life University (NAIA) hosts #7 Presbyterian (NCAA) in a marquee women’s freestyle dual. The Running Eagles recently won their third National Duals title in four seasons while the Blue Hose finished fifth in the NCAA division with a 4-1 record. The action begins at 7 p.m. ET.

It didn’t take Jason Moorman long to find a new job after his surprise departure from King University. Moorman has landed in Stephenville, Texas, as the new head women’s wrestling coach for Tarleton State University.

Iowa associate head coach Gary Mayabb pumped his fist in the air when Jaycee Foeller scored one match point off an activity clock violation in the closing moments of the 2024 NWCA National Duals. Foeller lost 6-1 to North Central’s Traeh Haynes but Mayabb was thrilled with the outcome.

MANHEIM, PA - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has shared the NCAA Women's bracket for the upcoming NWCA/USMC Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships. Presented by A Better Way Athletics, Capitol Construction, and Defense Soap, this year's event are at the University of Northern Iowa's UNI-Dome on January 10-11, 2025.
